My services

Dr Andrew Sawczenko BM MRCP MRCPCH

I am London born and educated, and am a Consultant Paediatrician with a passion for caring for children. I have over 30 years of practice as a children’s doctor and am one of the few specialists who are dually accredited in both General Paediatrics and Paediatric Gastroenterology.

I trained at leading hospitals including Great Ormond Street and Barts Hospitals, as well as Bristol and Birmingham Children's Hospitals, with the finest practitioners in the UK. I gained membership of both the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, and have published world class research in leading medical journals.

Consultant Paediatrician (Private)

Private patients are seen at the Portland and Cromwell Hospitalsand at London Medical.

Consultant Paediatrician (NHS)

I consult two days a week at the Homerton Hospital where I look after children with a wide range of problems including critically ill emergency cases admitted through a busy accident and emergency department. I also practice two days a week at Moorfields Eye Hospital which is Europe's largest specialist paediatric eye hospital. Here, I help to care for children with complicated opthalmological disorders.

Honorary Senior Lecturer (University College London)

I have presented at many national and international symposia. I have contributed to both national and international research and am an author of various guidelines.
