Career

I was educated at St Olave's Grammar School in Kent before obtaining a place at the University of Southampton to read Medicine. I went on to undertake my paediatric training in London, at Great Ormond Street and Barts Hospitals, as well as the Bristol and Birmingham Children's Hospitals. I gained membership of the Royal College of Physicians, and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, before undertaking a number of academic studies.

Consultant Paediatrician

I consult two days a week at the Homerton Hospital where I look after children with a wide range of problems including critically ill emergency cases admitted through a busy accident and emergency department.

I also practice two days a week at Moorfields Eye Hospital which is Europe's largest specialist paediatric eye hospital. Here, I help to care for children with complicated opthalmological disorders.

Honorary Senior Lecturer (University College London)

I have presented at many national and international symposia. I have contributed to both national and international research and am an author of various guidelines.
